I have been attempting to get this army completed for a while now. I feel one of the best ways to achieve this goal is to have support from the community at large so I started this blog.
As of right now, I'm waiting on one order of bits to come in, a little glue later, and the build will be done.

All this comes to 2000 pts., or dang close... I don't have my list right in front of me, and like I said everything is almost built. So far for painting, I have a test mini done, one of the AC's, and am actually quite pleased with him. Pictures will follow in the next few days, once I locate my now lost again camera. I'm looking forward to talking with you all, and take care.

ReplyDeleteGrim, I love the fact that you really themed your army list well for the Word Bearers. Your army has a ton of stuff in reserves, which pretty much means you can count on getting something in every turn and will have a real 'in your face' effect on the enemy. While you will have your work cut out for you on mech armies, you will eat through hordes pretty well and mech won't be that bad once you get their stuff out of the transports. I think you will smoke most drop pod armies as well. Keep up the good work.

ReplyDeleteI've had a few games where my Reserve Rolls didn't pop on anything till turn 3 or 4, but EVERYTHING came on the board. Those are some awesome moments, it's hard to staunch a tide of 24 Demons, 6 Termies , a Greater Demon, and 2 Oblits. That moment can be ruined by bad scatter, BUT it is a gamble I'm willing to take to make the game more fun for me.
